Any particular reason you're specifying 386/486? All of my machines still have serial ports on their motherboards- all 1GHz-2.4GHz Athlons. It can't be that hard to find one. In actual fact I've got a spare K7S5A kicking around somewhere I think. It's CPU-less though.
As it happens I do also have a 486, but although I'm not using it I'd rather not part with it unless someone has a specific use for it.
