I was only suggesting it as an idea, I am not involved in freecycle, I see your point, to many people a computer means windows and if it has not got windows its of no use. I learnt differently, its at least a couple of months since I used my windows machine.

i did try and give away a linux machine on the exeter freecycle sight some time ago but had no takers.
