DVD streaming works fine over 100Mbit, in fact I believe that Bluray also works fine over 100Mbit connections. DVD has a maximum bit rate (for official DVDs) of about 9.8Mbit/sec, so at a push you could possibly stream it over a 10Mbit connection (although may need to cache the stream a tad). The maxium bit rate of Bluray is about 40Mbit/sec.


Netbooks / notebooks / desktops all have their place
So we all should get one of each!

LOL, I might try that arguement with the wife, I expect it'll fall on deaf ears.
