There are the companies that are designed to do just this for you - eg. godaddy, 123-reg, and a plethora of others. Some cheap, some not-so. Just google for 'domain name registration' to get a list. Do read their T&C's though. Some make an exit fee if you leave them, some put restrictions on usage and domain ownership, some regsiter the domains in their name rather than yours and so on. Next down the line, but usually up in price is to use a local web design/hosting company (or not so local). So you're using Macace - have you approached them? Others that I know about in the SW include Zynet, WNW Design, Optix, Daneswood, Roc Media, Ayrmer, southwestict.com and probably a few dozen more... Then there are some smaller companies who offer this as part of an overall service they do for their clients - usually not the cheapest though as you're paying for a more personal service and support. Myself and I'm sure many others here fall into this category, but you really are paying for a more personalised service here, than dealing with a generic robot.
