Judging by logged bug #527283 http://article.gmane.org/gmane.linux.debian.devel.bugs.general/566014 I'm not the only one.... luckily apt-get seems to still be working but until this is fixed its manual updates from command line :-( Anyway, heads up anyone thinking of updating there squeeze box(es).....
