Its part of my study of the ability of humans to negate technology.
Forty years ago we had maybe 10Mhz of TV bandwidth and audiences exceeding 50%
of the population and programs talked about today.
Now we have GHz TV bandwidth, audiences of 30% of the population and programs
forgotten by the morning.
Thirty years ago I worked for BT and we made the first 9600Baud modem.
Computers and their users shared information and made the internet.
Now the average house hold has 2Meg and watches downloads that weren't good
enough to make it onto the telly.
We have PC's that are 1000 times more powerful than they were and we're still
arguing the toss over what format our paper documents should be in..
If IT was a car it would be a dead donkey!
