Well, bind is the daddy of all DNS servers IMO.. but I have also used
(with great success) tinydns and dnsmasq

Providing you have the time to spend learning BIND, thats the way I
would go.. failing that tinydns and dnsmasq in that order.. depending on
exactly what you need from the DNS systems...?
