Re: [LUG] OT: UKFSN problems this morning

To get Entanet to enable IPv6, I believe you email ipv6@xxxxxxxx (if you look on noc.enta.net, there's a page about it, which I can't link to as I can't access noc.enta.net on this particular machine for some reason) with your username, and they will eventually get around to emailing you with your assignment etc.

You will need a capable router, like a Cisco (as I do, it was very cheap) or you can probably convince a Linux-based one to work. That same page that I can't link to has some tutorials on how to enable it.

The reason why I did it was more of a "because I could" and so I can now access the IPv6 only things like jumping Google logos and dancing turtles (at least I'm future proofed I guess). Does anyone know of any decent IPv6 resources?

Working normally now.. one reason why I like UKFSN

Just out of interest, what is the reason to switch to IPv6? And how do you go about it
