AS a last resort rhe motherboard may have a link to reset or you may be able to remove the battery
Be warned this will lose all settings and you may not be able to access anything at all

just a follow up on this, is a programme called killcmos,i have been
told that this resets all bios settings but if not used correctly can
kill the laptop so use at your own risk and can be downloaded at major
geeks.
