can't say I have experience with this but can't photocopiers do 2 sided
copies which is good for newsletters and saving paper, laser printers
are just printers and to print a 2nd side, requires you to reinsert the
paper (perhaps things are different now)

The copier / printer i used a few weeks ago at a placement was also
networked so doubled up as a printer and photocopier, so i think a good
modern photocopier here would fit the bill for both tasks, ithese
units i think can also scan to file so again triple up as a scanner (not
100 percent sure about this one i know you can scan to file. )

it may cost more money but if its combined then its,

1 power socket
1 replacement set of toner (or whatever it uses), you still have to buy
paper, but its for 1 unit, and with 1 unit you have more control over
who can print etc, so its less admin on the computer client / server end.

etc

Not sure if this is any help
