[LUG] Help with my laptop

I have a bit of a problem with my laptop..

Runs for a while but then locks up solid..

memtest86 ran clean yesterday, it took over an hour (2gb of ram) to
perform a full run through with no errors detected..

This happens in both Ubuntu and Windows XP..

Suggestions ??
