Motherboards usually have a BIOS password reset strategy of some sort -
but it isn't always advertised widely for obvious reasons.

the thing is its not the  BIOS password!!! The xp password is diffrent from the BIOS password and resetting the BIOS password won't help. There is a SAM file in windows which holds the encrypted password. and using John the ripper you can easily crack it..use live CD to copy the SAM file to some USB drive and decrypt it!!!!! ;)
