It appears that in the US laptops re supplied with the Extended/Long Life batteries as standard. Whereas we get the 6 or 8 cell batteries as standard and have to pay an arm and a leg for a decent one, they get the 12 cell batteries bundled with the laptops. Another example of 'rip-off Britain'?
