On the subject of hardware (usb speakers thread), I have a connexant usb adsl modem, it works, and debian detects it, (well lsmod lists it correctly), as I have a normal router I don't really need it so will bring along to a meet, if anyone wants to see if they can get it working, or compile a kernel module for it, they are welcome.
