Hi folks, My other half who uses Windows was trying to get a coupon for some Organix baby food for our daughter. Now normally it's not a problem, she gets something in an e-mail (say an image) or a PDF file to print off and take down to the local retailer, but not Organix, they don't trust their customers! They have a system where you have to install a browser plugin to print the coupon. They say it is to prevent fraud. I say, what about those folks who don't run Windows?!? It looks like they do support Windows and MacOS X but Linux isn't mentioned at all. Fortunately my other half managed to get a coupon sent in the post but it wasn't obvious on how to get one sent (she had to go through about 5 or 6 mention options before she could say that she didn't have a printer). It really gets me, they say they have a No Junk Promise... but why are they insisting that their customers install some proprietary ActiveX junkware just to print a coupon (which once printed could be copied anyway!). To be honest, I think I'll be avoiding Organix in future.
