Paul I had a message on irc that you wanted help on cronapt. As this might be of help to others, probably easier if I put it on the web aptitude install cronapt Once installed then edit - /etc/cron-apt/config This is largely self explanatory, you need to remove the hash marks '#' from the beginning of the appropriate lines. I would suggest using aptitude to install the updates rather than apt-get. - /etc/cron-apt/action.d/3-download Please read the man file for apt-get command. The debian installation option is dist-upgrade -d -y -o the -d option forces download only. if removed then then cron-apt will install the files and depending on the options in the config file will email you what has happened I should be on my computer most of today: contact me on irc if you need any more info -- Henry Thu Aug 16 12:18:50 BST 2007
