Free market economics - the only question is whether there is enough
money going around to cover both devices, there are certainly enough
children. Intel's competitor product is supposed to run Windows or
GNU/Linux and is more expensive.

I suppose it remains to be seen if the Intel device is really as
capable as the OLPC device.
