Where one member made a joke & Neil pointed out dcglug & general posting ettiquette you feel the need to bring it up again. My email was and is working fine. My old mail account was cancelled and on trying to alter the setting for my list subscription I was getting error messages. Hence in error I sent a mail to see if a post to the group was working; NOT my email account in general. Personally if I ever see a message on our group like this (which after all is subscribed unlike usenet) my first reaction is always that someone has a problem with posting to the group. It's blindingly ob ious that if I wanted to test just my server setting I could send/receive to myself or ask a freind to send me a mail. Not 'spam' (with one post ?) the group and upset sooo many people.
