Since they got bought by Kingston (somebody who had a dire reputation even before), they have turned into another budget no-frills ISP with crap support and a limited product line. I've seen my account type become obsolete three times (although to be fair, they have not forced a change on me until I asked for it) and a great reputation sullied by cost and corner cutting. The online status has gone from accurately updated within minutes of a fault, to hardly updated at all (there's two open tickets dating back months). It also needs logging in as an account holder to view now, which smells of "hiding the problems from the potential customer". The peering seems pretty good though (I play online games so ping is an issue to me), throughput I'm hardly qualified to say, being at the end of a 512kbps piece of string, even flat out I won't be registering on their graphs. Connection issues have generally been BT's fault (radius servers or the pots line) and solved within an hour or two. Overall? Yes, they're Okay and I'm reasonably happy - but like any ISP, they're all good until it breaks and you can't get hold of somebody to unbreak it. -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG http://mailman.dclug.org.uk/listinfo/list FAQ: http://www.dcglug.org.uk/linux_adm/list-faq.html
