Neil
thanks for the kind offer, but I'm going to tax your patience as I still
don't understand why my mail is returned as spam by your server.

Under an e-mail address hosted by purplecloud I send a mail from my PC,
conected to eclipse, via my ISP, eclipse, and using the eclipse smtp
server. At this point the address could be an old rubbish, (although
obviously a valid address is better), purplecloud is not in the picture.
It uses an IP address assigned by eclipse, an address which may or may
not change the next time a thunderstorm knocks out the power. If I whois
the address it brings up eclipse.

Any returning mail is handled by the purplecloud pop3 server.

Are you saying that any mail sent to you from an eclipse customer is
rejected as spam?

How do I trace the spammer you uncovered who is connected to the address
that is currently assigned to me? Is this a defect is eclipse's security?

Said it'd tax your patience....

Thanks
   Simon

I had a similar issue until I got static IPs, someone on the dynamic range
had a virus and got the IP blocked then I picked it up the next time I
logged in. Normally clears itself within a week

You should be able to get a static IP from Eclipse by logging in as your
admin user and then going to your connection manager,

Eclipse offer 1 , 2 or 6 (ripe form requeseted for 6 or more usable IP
blocks

enjoy
Charlie
