I raised the issue with my MP, Andrew George, who has gone to Andy Burnham MP in the Department of Health and I will be getting a reply soon. He also said "the outgoing Minister – Lord Warner – did indicate recently that he accepted there was a need to do more to protect patient confidentiality."As it's been a regular topic of discussion, these might be of interest:
