I read that and was ticked off at first, but I dunno... U can now just shift an image complete with 'previous versions' of files. The command seems very very scarce on switches though. I ended up reading one of the replies in the link and they give you a list of the files you need to run ntbackup on vista (Do so at your licensing peril).
