Need some secure "piece of mind" delivery to the Indians typing these medical audio reports up? :) I guess you could implement a web application where the audio files could be played back with some flash player. There the transcribers could type up what they hear in the same web page in a textarea. And from the web application you should have quite OK control of who is listening to what and so forth. Of course flash isn't FOSS though. Oops.
