I am trying to copy a file from a normal directory in my home folder to a hidden directory in my home folder. I am using Kubuntu Edgy. When I try to use right click on the mouse and 'copy to' I get a list of directories but not the hidden ones. I have tried using cp in a terminal screen but get some error message about no such file or directory. Is there any way to see the hidden directories when I want to copy a file into one?
