I have acquired an external card reader (maker Sweex) which I propose using to transfer photos from my camera card to my computer. Of course the CD that comes with it has Windows files only. The reader is meant to be connected to one of my USB ports. It is meant to replace connecting my camera directly to the computer. Can anyone tell me how I go about using this reader please? Will it just work if I connect it to a USB port with the supplied cable or do I need a driver for it? I am running kubuntu Edgy.
