[LUG] Calling external libs from OOo basic

Hi Guys,

Anybody know if it is possible to call functions in external libs from 
open office basic. In the first instance this is being implemented on 
windows version of OO but if the solution is compatible to cross 
platform open office then even better, as i already have source level 
cross compatibility for the library i wish to call and this would then 
run nicely where ever open office ran :-)
