Yup, you only need todo rm -rf * in your home directory once.What a fun day that was. Almost as much fun as when I did it on our webserver (not logged in as root mind), I had not realised what directory I was in. I remember thinking this is taking a long time, then hammering ctrl+c. Everyfile from a-t gone.
We had backups so it wasn't a problem. But nothing is worse than, as the technical guy, turning around to your colleagues to explain what you have just done.
