If I use IRC at all I am on irc.freenode.net, #nylug, as I also subscribe to the New york group, which again due to time difference, it's a bit difficult to chat to people.
I do agrree that we need more people in the room. but understand that a lot of users are busy.

Recently there was debate on my local LUG, the SWLUG, which reached no conclusion with the result that the group is split currently over two networks, Oftc and Freenode.According to http://www.dclug.org.uk/linux_adm/contacts.php : Server name: irc.r-t-f-m.org.uk channel name: #dclug But I can't connect to it.Thats because about 6 months ago, after no one had connected for about 3 months solid, I disables the port forward.... If people are genuinly interested I will re-open the ports and fire up the server again... Let me know...
