And of course, by Samba i also mean Windows print and file sharing.

Least i think so anyway, i prepare myself to stand corrected :)

What i'm certainly trying to say is that i don't think you need to worry
about it since the server aspect of file and printer sharing (or samba)
should handle it for you.
