Hi Silly problem this, my home network will not start up on boot! I use Fedora 3, and using the Wizard I think I have it set up correctly. The offending script is below. ONBOOT=yes seems promising, but it does not work. # Please read /usr/share/doc/initscripts-*/sysconfig.txt # for the documentation of these parameters. GATEWAY=192.168.1.2 TYPE=Ethernet DEVICE=eth0:1 HWADDR=00:40:ca:53:3b:06 BOOTPROTO=none NETMASK=255.255.255.0 IPADDR=192.168.1.24 IPV6INIT=yes ONBOOT=yes USERCTL=no PEERDNS=yes ~ ~ Thanks Peter -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe.
