Re: [LUG] lug poster

I'd be happy to put in some work like that. I'm not terribly
experienced with configuration of Linux but I can still install Gentoo
successfully, which must say something...

I've made an attempt at producing a poster for the group. I've kept it simple

Copy posted on surgery notice board.

I am specifically prevented from offering services for pay to patients
on my NHS list for other things (like IT support), however, if there
were a number of reliable and competent people willing to work together
to ensure that on any day either during office hours or during a 2 hour
period of the evening (say) they were able to give helpdesk advice
and/or carry-in or home visit support with installation and operation of
Libre and/or Open Software I would be very pleased to pass their details
on to anyone who mentions that their Windows application has yet again
savaged them and disturbed their equanimity.

And if no such group exists, form around me by all means.
