Yes I have a 56k modem here, that even works with Linux I also have a 
ADSL modem (USB) that works with windows fine,  and I think with drivers 
and a bit of hacking may even work with Linux. (that was a few years ago 
so they may have got a driver working properly by now)

Both are going spare,
