[LUG] GnomeMeeting and telephony

Okay my mission to use computers like everyone else leads me to telephony.

RMS would no doubt be distressed to learn I installed the first piece of
"non free software" on this computer this week (for testing only
Richard) Skype, and had a good gossip with a friend in New York State
for hours and hours.... Which worked okay over ISDN, for as long as no
big email deliveries arrives when the voice would drop out completely.

For comparison I need to try out GnomeMeeting, so far the setup is
trivial, but I hit this issue with not knowing anyone else on
ils.seconix.com well enough to interrupt their gossiping. And I fear
NetMeeting interoperability will require too much effort for the moment.

So if anyone wants to chat, call me. or try to.
