I was having a look at GNU's web site the other day and reading a bit about GNU/Hurd. Is it possible to download a pre-compiled kernel, or does it require lots of compling etc? Just interested in seeing it running but aint got enough knowledge/patience/time to compile anything. Rob

Since Debian isn't a Linux distribution but rather it's a "collection of tool surrounding GNU" then it's not really surprising. Debian GNU/Hurd's the name.
