[LUG] X Server failure in MDK 9.1

Hi All,

 

This is that laptop AGAIN! :(

 

I gave up trying to get the trackpad working in MDK10 and decided to install MDK 9.1 instead.  All went well as the 2.4 kernel used the GlidePointPS/2 to drive the trackpad and it worked.  Until the install completed.

 

Now the X Server won't load at all.  There doesn't appear to be an XFree86.0.log in /var/log for me to tell you anything helpful :(  Is there some way it needs to be told to make a log?
