[LUG] Revitalised D&CLUG search engine available

The search engine has been revamped after similar work for GnuCash resulted in
an improved design for both engines. https://lists.gnucash.org/search/

It now displays the results in pages - making for faster searches and lower
server load - and it uses GET instead of POST so that the full query is
displayed in the browser address bar, ala Google. (W3C guidelines - if it
doesn't change the data, use GET).

Instead of individually selecting the archives to search, you should just pick
the start month and select how many months to go back from that point, up to
6 months in one search. The results page gives a guesstimate of the total
number of results and a link to the next page.

Default options: case insensitive, boolean AND.
'case sensitive' and 'boolean OR' can be specified.

If either 'month' or 'year' are missing, the site (including Wiki) and current
archive are searched. The engine intelligently handles months prior to May
2001 which are not in the current archive structure and dates prior to
October 1999 when the archive started.

If no 'span' is specified (number of months to include) it defaults to 2,
including the start month.

As before, it keeps itself up to date with each new archive as the months tick
passed and abstracts are available if you use the advanced search from the
main index page or the Archive search at www.dclug.org.uk/archive/

e.g. (no abstracts selected)
http://www.dclug.org.uk/search.php?terms=Neil+Stone&month=6&year=2004
searches the last two archives for Neil Stone (just an example, Neil!)

http://www.dclug.org.uk/search.php?terms=Neil+Stone
searches the website and the current archive only.

As ever, every effort has been made to render HTML4.1 Strict W3C compliant
pages but there's no accounting for what's in the archive - tags are stripped
but I suppose some messages could still cause the odd hiccup.

Any problems, let me know.
