Please! "administer".

I'm not intending to be pedantic (although I realise it may be seen as such, and may 
indeed be true, in a strict sense), but I hate neologisms. There is no verb "To 
administrate" to my knowledge (I'll check the OED later).

Sorry all, and in particular you, Kai, rant over!

What did you intend by your question? It would seem to have some potential, and I'd 
be interested in your ideas.
