Hi all,

Over the years, I've done a load of coding work for myself and various other 
people.  However none of my own code is held in a version control system...yet.

I'm looking for a suitable version control system, that can run on a linux box 
(Obviously) and also serve to both linux and windows clients.

So far I've found:-

Original CVS http://www.cvshome.org/
Subversion http://subversion.tigris.org/

Are there any more out there?  And also what are people's experience of using 
them?
