My commiserations! I used to have problems with fixation problems when burning 
CD's but, without any obvious changes, now seems ok. I do wonder whether some 
devices are picky about the media you insert. When you do get successful it 
would be interesting to know how long your data lasts on the disk as I have 
heard there are problems.
