I take it you are looking for a GUI client, yes? KMail (standard 
under KDE) or Evolution (comes with Gnome, afaik) will do what you 
want.

Might need some input from your side - SpamAssassin works fine for 
me, either with Procmail or directly with KMail. Check out

You forgot * Virus filtering, for which I'm using Amavis and antivir 
with excellent result.
