Warp Records have introduced DRM free mp3 music store today, I've not tried it yet, but I have to say that the iTunes Music Store is pretty good, very good quality files, and they sound great. The service is really easy to use also.
Do any of the Linux media players respect DRM extensions? Would it not be something that you could simply remove, like removing the ID3 headers? I've not really looked into the anti-piracy things for audio CDs too much as it all seems to centre around preventing people playing their discs in Windows/Mac. I haven't looked into the DRM thing either since I don't download/buy music online. -- Artificial intelligence is no match for nuratal stidutipy. -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe.
