Using MSIE, you can use a whole url with backslashes as opposed to forward slashes (http:\\www.dclug.org.uk\linux_adm\archive.html) and the browser will translate the backslashes to forward slashes.
Becuse IE does this translation, people can generate pages that work in IE but in any other browser will result in broken images/links/etc.
