Finding a webhost who will offer extras like this is hard - finding a cheap one is a tad miraculous? Even when you do, (I used Purple-Paw.com based in the US), when they do some arbitrary system maintenance, it can trash the config and the whole site stops working. (Just happened to me, the site was operating but not searching for a day. In both cases, the HTML would be the only part working.) My solution is to test compilation of the C code using a prefix, patch the Perl to accept the prefix and upload the lot to user webspace. http://sourceforge.net/projects/netpbm/ Programming Language: C, Perl, Unix Shell So it should be possible. Alternatively, search for a webhost that offers PHPSane: http://freshmeat.net/projects/netpbm/?topic_id=100 Projects depending on this project (Total: 15): transfig (required) cthumb (Default branch) (required) TkVoice (optional) phpSANE (required) Pathalizer (required) > matt lee > Webmaster, Free Software Foundation > <http://www.fsf.org/> Didn't know that! Well done on a nicely valid and readable site. Looks excellent in Lynx!
