Tried the test-8 kernel to no avail, the agpgart module refused to work
despite upgrading aaa_base modutils and mkinitrd to the required specs
there are obviously quite a few major changes and it just dont sit pretty on a 
2.4 based box even the usual install method has changed which caused much
fun ,ho hum suse 9.0 due in a couple of days woo-hoo
