Hi everyone, After going to Richard Stallman's talk on software patents in Sheffield today, I've decided that it's time I wrote to my MP. I've written the letter, but I'd be very greatful if anyone who knows about the issues could have a read through it before I send it, just to make sure I've got my facts right and haven't missed anything. I've put it online at http://home.david-web.co.uk/SoftwarePatentsLetter.html and I'd be *very* greatful for any feedback (off-list please). I also urge anyone who hasn't written to their MP about software patents to do so. You can find lots of information on the issues at www.ffii.org.uk and www.softwarepatents.co.uk.
