Please expand.....

ssh has various options to restrict the environment variable setting.

In it's strictest configuration it will use the "compiled in" path and
nothing else!

However if you are allowing shell acess you might as well let them set
environment variables like PATH, see "man ssh" after checking if it is
the path at the far end that doesn't include rsync.

No idea what RAQ's default to - aren't they being discontinued?
