I got an email from a Shaw IP address apparently attempting to insert a
trojan onto my PC by clicking on a hypertext link, I assume someone
attempting to recruit machines for some purpose, if it were targeted why
would they send a Windows executable, I mean I don't exactly hide the
fact that I don't do Windows.

The moral, if you run Outlook or Internet Explorer your security is
already toast, so don't visit any strange websites, don't read mail from
people you don't trust, don't trust email headers to tell you if a mail
is from someone you trust.....

I ran out of diskspace about 03am due to the excessive numbers of that
Microsoft patch viruses, I think goes to prove you can't overestimate
the gullibility of the average Windows user.

Windows vulnerabilities are really starting to piss me off, and I only
run it to port software. I think I'll withdraw supporting Cygwin as a port.
