[LUG] Mandrake ADSL

I've arranged broadband from home using a netgear
PCIMA ethernet card to a usb/ethernet modem.

Everything works fine under windows but I can't get
things working under Mandrake 9.1

I ran drakeconfig and I've got the network working
(sort of) because I can connect to the configuration
pages for the modem/router thing, but I can't connect
to the internet and I don't have any idea what the
problem is.

Anyone have any ideas.
