[LUG] ftp server

ok here's a little ditty for people to ponder over i can upload to my
ftp box but the files are not visible to my ftp client ( cuteftp on
windows) once uploaded however if i telnet into the box they are , ,i
would like all users to be able to see those files but not alter them ,
i have checked permissions on theose files and they seam ok so i guess
it must be somthing in the ftp servers config that needs setting in some
way
