[LUG] First Batch of computers arrive in Philippines

Hi everyone,

Just to let everyone in the group know that I have been informed that the
first batch of computers I sent to the Kapitan Thomas Monteverde Sr
Elementary School in Davao City Philippines has arrived (current working
state uknown). And to thank everybody for their support and for putting up
with me getting on my soap box about subjects such as LTSP, education, and
software patents and the like. 

Its now up to the local support "team" in Davao City to chase monitors and
get the equipment installed / configured etc. Having done some work
converting Davao City's chamber of commerce to LTSP should help the local
support team in finding the necessary equipment. I have been assured that
the whole process will be documented on digital camera, so I will post a URL
when the time comes.

Hopefully the feedback from this project will be positive, and provide
opportunities for expansion of the project.

For some kids in Davao City at least, Christmas will be coming early !
